About
Cody Tipton, M.D., is a board certified orthopedic surgeon that specializes in sports medicine and joint reconstruction. He completed his subspecialty training in Taos, New Mexico, where he also served as the team physician for USA men's speed ski team in Val Gardena, Italy.
Dr. Tipton graduated summa cum laude from Missouri Western State University with a bachelor's in science where he also played collegiate baseball. He then graduated as the number 1 ranked student in his medical school class at Howard University.
Dr. Tipton joins our team at River Region along with his wife Ashley, son Cohen, and daughter Sloane. His hobbies include skiing, golf, baseball, exercise and spending time with his family.
